Back to Work on the Siding

That husband of mine, he's always slacking on the job . . .

Tools and materials ready to go. That piece of white board with the house shape is going to be an "architectural feature" in order to cover where the seam is at the peak.

We had gotten the soffit installed a few days ago, but this boxed in area will be coverd on the bottom and will be a nice solid place to mount the motion sensor flood lights. Previously they were mounted to the aluminum gutter for lack of a better surface.

Another really safe technique--don't try this at home, folks. He's nailing in the "architectural feature."

And now the whole side is done!!! But then there's the whole back to do, and I really don't want to be up that high over concrete on that walkboard. I think he'll have to find another helper.

Eddie started on the other end today, too, just to where the chimney is. I'll have to get some pictures of that tomorrow.
